Is David Allen's "Getting Things Done" a prerequisite for TRO Training?

edited March 2010 in TRO General Discussion
I'm about to start the online TRO training, but want to know if I need to read Getting Things Done first. Is this a critical building block to the training? I will likely read it regardless, but am anxious to start the training right now!

  • No, you don't need to read "Getting Things Done". TRO uses many of the same principles, but it stands on its own.
  • Right, it's definitely not needed first. However, if you already read David Allen's Getting Things Done, you'll find that TRO training clarifies and solidifies a whole pile of unanswered questions.

TRO also refines your trusted system to give you better results with less effort. Read here for some of the improvements.
