Short details | One of the most beautiful and easy-to-use GTD tasklists on the market, Wunderlist is also incredibly well adapted to multi-platform use. Supports cloud syncing and team collaboration. |
Facile Things is an noble attempt to teach you a pure GTD approach as you manage your tasks. The original interface was especially good at doing this, stepping you through the process of a mid dump and the 5 phases of GTD for each task. Facile Things supports unlimited tagging (contexts), Goals that can be connected to projects IF the goals already exist (which is very awkward), and Contacts (which must already be Facile Things users to utilize some functionality--it will not invite them for you). Collaboration ability appears to be a work in progress as of this writing, but it looks like it is coming. TRO Implementation: To do TRO with Facile Things, do not use the built-in Waiting For functionality--it does not support dates. Instead, use the W/F method taught in TRO Online Training. Use the Date feature as the hard date, and use special #ThisWeek, #NextWeek, #ThisMonth, #NextMonth tags as soft dates. Use #Today as a Do Today indicator. You cannot use special characters with tags. Tasks cannot be transferred from one project to another, so use the inline+notes project approach for most project tasks. |
