A good electronic calendar will remind you about current appointments. To be fully TRO-capable, an electronic calendar also needs to support a reminder list.
Learn how reminders are supported in your calendar service or program. Options include:
- Pop-up alerts. This is common for installed apps, and it is an option for some online services. These reminders are usually automatic and require no setup.
- TXT or IM alerts. This is common for online calendars. Setup ins required, since you need to tell the calendar which services to use, what your account number is, etc. Look for these settings and configure it properly before using.
- Email reminders or lists. (Not recommended.) This is sometimes available for online calendars, but it is not as useful, since your email inbox should not constantly interrupt your work. Try to avoid this option.
