Hard Dates

If a task/step must be done to avoid bad things, it needs a hard date. Hard dates get special treatment in TRO. When the day arrives, you will be forced to pay attention to the task if it has slipped to that point.

Important! Not all tasks are “must do” tasks, so the hard date must be optional. Assigning hard dates to all your tasks will totally overwhelm you within a few weeks, and you will stop using your system. That is not the TRO way. Use hard dates sparingly!
