In Outlook, your Outlook Reminders Window is your hotlist. Tasks in that list have hard dates set to today, and the reminders tell you to move them to the Do Today list. To go through your hotlist:
“Where Are My Reminders?”
The Reminders Window opens automatically if you have active reminders. If you close it prematurely, re-open it by going to the View menu in Outlook and clicking Reminders Window.
- Open the Reminders Window.
- Open each task (NOT the appointments).
- If you will do the task today (“must do” to avoid bad things), flag it as Do Today (High Priority) and uncheck the Reminder.
- If you will not do it today, reschedule the task, including the Reminder.
- Save and Close the task.
