If you use the Inline w/ Notes method for projects, orphan protection is automatic. When you complete each project step, you will re-process the task, choosing a new “Next Action” and adjusting the contexts and dates accordingly. Only mark it as complete when the entire project is finished. This way, projects can’t stall and your weekly reviews are as short as possible.
Add to Weekly Review
If projects do not include orphan protection, you must add these steps to your weekly review:
- Look at each project in your projects list.
- Make sure each project has a live, scheduled next action.
- If not, add one now.
