The Must Do Today and Must Follow up Today lists in Donedesk–together–are your Do Today list(s). These are tasks whose Hard Date is today or earlier.
The Must Do Today list shows all tasks (or next steps) you are responsible to complete by the end of today.

Click Tasks To Do tab on the left, then click More…
Click Must Do Today tab.
The Must Follow up Today list shows all task you need to follow up on before the end of the day, either through Donedesk, by phone, or in person.
