Astrid is a web-based application and does not software require updates, except for your mobile apps. You will be notified of mobile updates automatically on each device.
There’s one thing you do need to do, however. Upgrade to Astrid Premium because you’re going to need GTD Inbox and find premium features useful like: attachments and a powerful voice dictation feature for task capture, among other things. Upgrade here: https://astrid.com/premium
