What the Task Manager Fields Mean

In Assembla Tickets, use the following fields and methods to handle TRO features:

  • A custom field named Soft Date is the soft date.
  • A custom field named Hard Date is the hard date.
  • Ticket in DO Today List means Do Today list.
  • Ticket in Someday/Maybe filter means Someday/Maybe.
  • Deadline dates are entered in the subject line (in parentheses) after the project name or next step.
  • Tags are used for major contexts (life areas), meeting contexts, 1-1 contexts, action contexts, and as a Someday/Maybe marker.
  • Projects and next steps are entered in the task subject:
          Project Name – Next step.
  • Future next steps are entered in the comment field:
    • Click , then ; or click if you’re already in the Tickets tab.
    • Click an existing Ticket.
    • Click (upper left).
    • Enter future next steps in the description field.
    • Click (upper left).
