Astrid’s list of all user defined Lists (used or unused) at the left of the screen is your master context list.

There are two ways to add new contexts to this list.

  • Add a context before assigning it to a task.
    • At the left of the screen and within the Lists pane, click Add a List.
    • Type the context name
    • Press Enter or click Create new list.
    • Press F5 to refresh the screen. (Do this each time you add a new context.)

or

  • Add a context by assigning a new context directly to a task.
    • Click on a task.
    • Click on the field with “Add another list” next to Lists.
    • Type the context name.
    • Press Enter.
    • Press F5 to refresh the screen. (Do this each time you add a new context.)
