If you have not already done so, take time now to create a master list of contexts. These are the contexts you choose from when you process your tasks.

Some task managers let you define this list. Others only show you a list of contexts currently in use. If yours is the latter, you can still have a master contexts list by creating a dummy task called [Master Contexts], making it a Template, and assigning all your common contexts to it.

Include all of the following contexts:

  • Major contexts.
  • Meeting contexts
  • 1-1 contexts.
  • Action contexts.
