In MS Planner, smart dates are: Someday/Maybe = Drag and drop task to the Someday column (10th from the left). Soft Dates = Drag and drop task to any of the following columns: This Week (6th from the left) Next Week (7th from the left) This Month (8th from the left)...

If the order of your Do Today list is wrong, change it now. Complete tasks from top to bottom.

Specify the order of today’s tasks. In MS Planner, simply drag tasks higher or lower in the list.
