In RTM, the Due Date is the hard date. You can enter a full date or a phrase like “today”, “tomorrow”, or “next thursday”.

In Remember the Milk, Priority is the soft date: 1 = this week, 2 = next week, 3 = this month. If the task is farther out than that, use the sm tag (Someday/Maybe).
