In Astrid, your Do Today list is the Today list in the upper left menu. It does not require setup.

In Astrid, view all tasks for action context by clicking the appropriate List on the left bottom side of the screen (like Errands or Calls), then choose Uncompleted from the Filter: drop menu bar (above the list of tasks).
