Flagging Tasks as “Do Today”

In Outlook, to make a task appear in the Do Today list, Open it, set it to High Priority (!), uncheck the Reminder, and Save and Close.

“Do Today”

High priority (!) means Do Today in Outlook. Any task set to High priority appears in the Do Today List.
