You make a Template project by writing the project and steps behind the Projects tab at the back of your planner, then write (Template) after the name. Don’t cross it off when you use it—copy it instead.

Quickly add a task to your list of Templates for future tasks. (Write it behind the Projects tab at the back, indicate that it is a template.)

In a paper planner, a template is just a list of steps you’ll repeat each time. Write the list on a page behind the Projects tab, and write (Template) after the name. Refer to it as you move through the steps of each similar project.

Searching for tasks in a paper planner isn’t as hard as it seems. Project-related tasks will be together on a page behind the Projects tab. Soft date or Someday/Maybe tasks can be searched for by context, behind the context tabs. Hard date tasks can be searched...
